A Heart Prepare:
For Such a Time as This—Seek, Do, Teach
At Exodus Outreach Ministries, our theme for 2025 is inspired by Ezra 7:10: “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.” This year, we embrace the call to have hearts ready and willing to engage in God’s purpose for us—to seek His Word, to act on His commands, and to teach His truth to others.
Grounded in the urgency of Esther 4:14, “...for such a time as this...”, we recognize the significance of this moment in history. Just as Esther prepared herself to act courageously in God’s timing, we are called to step into divine opportunities with faith and boldness.
Isaiah 58 challenges us to fast and live in ways that break chains of injustice, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and bring hope to the oppressed. Through these acts of service, we fulfill Christ’s call in Matthew 25:31-46 to care for "the least of these," recognizing that our actions are a reflection of our devotion to Him.
As Jesus taught in Matthew 5:16, we aim to let our light shine before others, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. This is not only an act of faith but also an invitation for others to know Him through our lives.
Finally, the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 reminds us that we are not just hearers of the Word but also doers and teachers, called to make disciples of all nations, sharing the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ.
This year, we commit to preparing our hearts to live out this mission. Through seeking God’s will, serving with purpose, and teaching His truth, we boldly answer His call. Together, we stand ready—for such a time as this.
